Attached are a possibly useful paper, co-authored with SCEC intern Austin Elliot, on the 1892 earthquake, and a figure showing our reinterpreted intensities for that event. In the figure, the small star is our preferred epicenter for 1892; the large star is yesterday's quake. If yesterday's quake was on the Laguna Salada fault it looks like it might have re-ruptured the 1892 zone -- or maybe it was an adjacent fault to the west.
