sat phone numbershoughSatellite Phone Exercise - October 30, 2008 (09:00 PDT) 16 years 2 weeks agoThe USGS is still awaiting delivery (any day now) of two sat phones that will stay with the response coordinator (me) and the field ops coordinator (Erik.) Info will be updated when phones arrive. If the Big One happens before then we have access to the sat phone used for communication with field techs. We also now have OASIS lines.

New UNAVCO Data Policy for Event ResponseblumeShakeOut Response Planning - Geodesy Group 16 years 2 weeks agoThe following policy will apply to all data acquired with ANY UNAVCO-supported hardware requested during ShakeOut: "All data acquired using UNAVCO-owned hardware requested as part of an Event Response must be archived and made publicly available as soon as possible after they are downloaded from the instrument." We will be reviewing this and all UNAVCO data policies with the Board of Directors in the coming weeks; I encourage concerned investigators to make their opinions known on this issue. The current overriding UNAVCO Data Policy can be found here: http://www.unavco.org/community/policies_forms/DataPolicy.html and the conflicting EarthScope policy here: http://www.earthscope.org/es_doc/data/esdatapolicy.pdf
